Casie is a native of Andalusia and graduated from Andalusia High School in 2001. She became the Director of Camp Sonshine after the founder, Nancy Philyaw, retired in May of 2019. Casie has 20 plus years of childcare experience, nine of those years working in Camp SonShine. She has an abiding love and passion for children,  and she believes the Lord has given her this passion to be used at Camp SonShine. She strives to make sure that every child who walks through the doors of Camp SonShine feels warmth and safety, and most importantly the love of Jesus Christ. 

   Casie has two children of her own, Cayden (16) and Caliana (12). Her family attends Red Oak Baptist Church and spends most of their time with family and friends and at the beach.
