Heather is a native of Andalusia and graduate of Andalusia High School. She surrendered her life to the Lord at age 8 and recognized His call into ministry as a teenager. Pursuing that focus, Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Ministries from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. In 2012, she married her high school sweetheart, Justin. They have two children, Jack and Hadley. 

   Heather has served in children’s and youth ministry at local churches since 2018. She enjoys reading, cooking, supporting her kids in sports, traveling, Mexican food and Family Game Nights. 

  Heather’s focus for Children’s and Preschool ministry at Southside is to see children come to know Christ, consistently grow in their relationship with Him, develop a Biblical worldview and learn how to serve Him through effective leadership and the example of Godly leaders around them. Heather began serving as Director of Children and Preschool in May of 2024.
