James grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and was always a part of music in any way he could be. During his second year of college, he dedicated his life to the Lord. This would lead him to pursue a life of ministry in the worship arts finishing his degree in Sacred Music and Bible. James has since served as a full-time worship pastor in South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida and now in Alabama where he has just finished fifteen years in ministry.

James has been married to his wife Lindsey since 2014. Together they have two kids - Josie (8) and Finn (4). They are in the thick of it in life but wouldn’t change a thing about it.
James has a passion for leading people into authentic worship and helping the church encounter God through music, prayer, and the Word. With a heart for serving both the congregation and the worship team, James is committed to cultivating a culture of worship that extends beyond Sunday mornings and into everyday life.
